When a mighty landside sunk most of Kingsport into Kingsport Lake, many of the survivors fled into the Patreayl Rainforest for a new home. This was the first colonial settlement built by those survivors. They named it New Kingsport, in hopes that it would become a thriving metropolis like the old one had been.
