Description
The Scoundrel is a high-skill, high-damage class built around pressing your luck and showing off. Equipped with a six shooter and a trusty deck of magical cards, the Scoundrel can sling his gun to fire curved bullets and increase his attack.
How to fight
The Scoundrel is a gun-based DPS class that relies on skillfully curving shots. You can fire a basic shot from the gun by just aiming and pulling the trigger. To curve, press down on the trigger, make some motion with your gun, and release the trigger at the point you wish to. Shots curved like this will apply a debuff to the enemy between rank 1-5, each increasing the Scoundrel's future damage against the enemy by some amount.
The class also comes with a small deck of randomly sorted cards to pull from. If you pick up a card (grip trigger) and then release it, the card will float to the top of your field of view and provide its base effect on your next hit. If you pick up a card and then press the trigger button, the card will burn and apply its secondary effect to your active card. If you want to store the card for later, you can place it on your belt (an invisible box roughly around your bellybutton) for later use.
The class can also charge its attack by holding down the trigger for an extended period of time, for a maximum of 3 (or 4 with the right talent) bullets. This charged attack acts as the Scoundrel interrupt.
Note that the Scoundrel can be a complicated class to play, as the class does very limited damage without active high-rank curve effects.
The current Cards available to you include:
Card of Flame: If used, greatly increases the damage of your next attack. If burned, Spreads Scoundrel effects to nearby targets upon hitting an enemy.
Card of Light: If used, heals the Scoundrel for the damage done to the enemy. If burned, Spreads Scoundrel effects to nearby targets upon hitting an enemy.
Card of Flint: If used, weakens the target's defense against future attacks. If burned, Cheats to place a copy of the active card back into the deck.
Card of Ash: If used, greatly increases the critical chance of your next hit. If burned, Cheats to place a copy of the active card back into the deck.
Card of Vines: If used, afflicts the enemy with a poison debuff. If burned, increases the Potency of the active card effect (damage or duration).
Card of Ice: If used, applies a slow debuff on the enemy. If burned, increases the Potency of the active card effect (damage or duration).
Super Ability
The Scoundrel super ability increases the damage of the next six shots by 25% and automatically apply rank 5 Showing Off on enemies.
